As 2022 closes out, local women who own businesses are looking to continue empowering others.

 When BS Grillin’ Company contacted me about sampling their sauces, I decided to take them up on it because I thought it’d be fun to pair them up with The Herbivorous Butcher's products.

 AJ Richards grew up with severe food allergies. Tired of having to worry over ingredients and buy two of everything for her household, she decided to create her own.

 Lynchburg, Virginia’s premier gourmet condiment company known for designing all-natural, low-sugar, gluten-free, vegan BBQ sauces and relishes, is excited to announce their five-year celebration of selling products within the Mid-Atlantic region and online through Amazon. 

 It may seem counter-intuitive to increase your income by giving items away, but giveaways are an extremely effective form of relationship marketing.  They produce a feeling of goodwill between you, your customers, and even potential customers which have a direct correlation to how they perceive the brand. 

It was a great honor being included in QVC's Small Business Spotlight for black-owned businesses.
